Website Matenance

So over the past month I have been trying to fix the
biggest issue with my site currently: the background
colour and the header colour not matching if you
scroll. The good news: I have fixed this problem! The
Bad news: I have enleashed yet another bug
in the code. This one I cant seem to squash (if
anyone out there knows a good RapidWeaver code bug
exterminator have them email...). This latest scruge
seems to have the background gradient scroll over the
grass (how many times I have I told you? Keep off the
grass!). Anyways I decided to bite the bullet and
update my site even with the bug in it. I’ve got a
few forum posts around to try and resolve it, but for
the mean time “oh well...” With just a bit of luck
the guys over at the RealMacSoftware forums can help me rosolve
this problem, oh, and if you want to help me out
you can post some helpful CSS tips as a comments
here or over that the RMSW forums on my post.
EDIT: On another note, I just noticed that my comment system has now started to display ads on my pages, please try to ignore them while I try and find another comment system that works with RapidWeaver.Read More...

Its Been a While
May/05/2008 10:02 PM
So, its been a while since I posted anything. Its
mostly due to being too busy doing things to post.
The past few weeks I have taken a ton of new photos
and finished a new wallpaper.
To start, the wallpaper: My new wallpaper is called The Light: Original. This is the original implementation of The Light. This is what it was supposed to look like, and what I had in mind before I added the planet.
This is the original iteration of The Light. This one is more from the down-to-(insert random planet here) point of view. I thnk you really need to do more than look at the in page preview to really see the whole thing... but thats just me.
*Copied from my journal*
Over a month after posting the The Light, I have finally finished the follow up peice to it, even though this is how the peice was originally envisioned it changed on me and now I have reenvisioned it.
This is my new all time favourite wallpaper: The Light- Original. This one came out EXACTLY how I wanted it. The stars, the light its self, the reflection, the texture of the ocean, and the clouds. Each came together just perfecly, or as close as a peice of art can get to perfection.
One of my favourite parts (two actually) are the stars and the clouds. The stars look amazing, they have a subtle color variations and they each have little blurs around them. And the clouds, the parted just how they should, it looks as if they are being pushed away by the light, and as such they wrap around.
Ah, I am very happy how this one turned out, I hope everyone else enjoys it as much as I do.
And now for the new pictures.
Over the past few weeks I have created a new album called Random, this is an album I will be posting just random pictures of me and my friends doing whatever. Since I originally created the album I have had several sets of pictures to upload, but have not gotten the chance. So I am now uploading new pictures. Enjoy...
Ah. It feels good to finally post again. I should be posting more often seeing that school is coming to a close. Until next time.

New Theme
Apr/14/2008 10:16 PM
After one week of tweaking and fiddling with code and
images I am pleased to announce: Fresh Air. That is
the name of my latest RapidWeaver theme, and the
current theme of this website. This is by far my
favourite theme I have ever made and I hope you
like it too.
A new thing I am going to be doing is selling my old themes. Each time I change the theme on my website I will be selling the old one for between $10 and $15. This is to benefit, well, me and all the work I put into making each theme and maintaining server costs. But mostly it is just to let everyone enjoy what I do, a great looking web site. So, after I change the theme of this website I will set this one up for sale for the world to enjoy. For those anxious to have this theme, I plan on changing themes every one to two months.
So, please enjoy the new look, and if you do find any... bugs... email me, the link is at the bottom of each page.

Back Up

Lesson Learned: Backup!
Dec/02/2007 03:57 PM
Well, it has to happen to everyone. You loose a file
do to not backing up, and after years of luck it
finally caught up with me. Now, this wasn't just any
file, no it wasn't a school paper or anything
important like that, no this was the website theme.
When I installed the new version of RapidWeaver my
theme file was overwritten and since I hadn't done
any sort of backups what-so-ever I lost it. So, now
Time Machine runs happily in the background and I
have spent the better part of the day rebuilding the
file from scratch (its so much easier when
you know what it supposed to look like). But, as a
result, I have changed some things and I think it
looks better.

New Site Design
Nov/06/2007 05:49 PM
Finally! I have gotten around to completely
redesigning the website. As you can see, there is
nothing left of the old design. The new one features
my one of my desktop wallpapers, my personal
favorite. If you find any bugs please let me know.
Also, I am removing the 'beta site' from the top,
since the site is now (finally?) out of its beta
phase.
